We here at Professor B Studios understand that the current outbreak of Covid-19 is very real and very much affecting us and our community. As such, we are taking extra measures to ensure the safety of our clients, guests, ourselves, and our families. We are sharing the following statement with our clients and are including it here so that you know where we stand and how serious we are about safety.
Thank you for choosing Professor B Studios. As you know, the current landscape has caused a number of changes in how many industries work. Our studio has past and current clients, friends, and family members who have been affected by Covid-19.We take the health and safety of our clients, our families, and ourselves seriously and are choosing to err on the side of safety as much as we can. That being said, we still are trying to work and keep the lights on to serve our local businesses and artists as we always have.
In regards to that, we are taking some measures to do what we can to protect everyone involved. The following measures are non-negotiable and required if you choose to involve us in your project. These measure are also based on our current understanding of preventive measures and what we are able to safely do.Remember, this is in place not only for you, but also for the clients that may come into the studio behind you.Below is a list of things that we need you to read through and then reply to this email that you understand and accept.
No extra people, friends, family, fans, etc are permitted in the studio or waiting room at this time. Please only have people with you that have to be here for the shoot.
There is a small fridge, Keurig, and trashcan in the waiting room.We ask that you use those ONLY.The exception, of course, being the trash can in the restroom. This minimizes the number of surfaces we have to clean after you leave.
We are unable to allow the use of house instruments at this time and are limiting the use of microphones to those that we have selected with removable parts to make cleaning easier.
Please inform us and cancel / reschedule your appointment if you are not feeling well.We will do the same.
Please bring a mask if you are able to do so.We will have one for ourselves to put on when we have to be within 6 feet of you.In the event that you cannot bring or wear a mask you may be asked to move to the waiting room while we make adjustments. It has been shown that the wearing of masks is one of the greatest ways to prevent yourself from spreading the virus to someone else.
Thank you for your help and patience as we work this out.We will continue to refine and update these measures as the landscape and our understanding of the virus changes.Replying to this email with an ‘I understand and am still good to go’ or something along those lines means that you understand the measures we are taking, agree to the risk of coming to an open (by appointment only) business during this time, and will not hold Professor B Studios, its employees, or volunteers, responsible if you become sick after the fact.
It feels weird evening having to write up something like this. Please understand that we are doing what we can and it was either open in as safe a way as we could figure out or close up shop… possibly forever.
